Colorado primary election results: US Senate, Larimer commissioners


Voters will get 3 chances to cast their ballots in 2020: March 3, June 30, Nov. 3.


Tuesday is Colorado’s 2020 primary election. Come back to this page to see live results as they are reported after polls close at 7 p.m.

In addition to a statewide Democratic primary for U.S. Senate, voters in Larimer County will select finalists for county commissioner seats, state Senate and House seats, and a seat on the CU Board of Regents.

Results will be released throughout the evening, and we’ll bring them to you as they are available. 

In Larimer County, if more than 20,000 ballots come in on Election Day, counting for the commissioner races will not be completed Tuesday.

Andrew Romanoff and John Hickenlooper are vying for the chance to challenge Republican Sen. Cory Gardner in November.

Senate District 23

Galena Nicoll and Sally Boccella are vying to be the Democrat running in November for the seat now held by Republican Vicki Marble.

Larimer County commissioner, District 3

  • Jody Shadduck-McNally
  • Miles Baker

University of Colorado Regent

Callie Rennison, Dave Gross and Aaron Harber are running.

Vicki Marble and Mike Lynch are vying to be the Republican running in November against Democrat Yara Hanlin Zokaie.

Senate District 23

Barbara Kirkmeyer and Rupert Parchment are vying to be the Republican to run in November for the seat now held by Republican Vicki Marble.
